Please don't catapult rocks in the house!

What happens when you leave a history activity book open to a page about ancient Roman weapons in a house full of boys?

A fully functional miniature catapult made of whatever they could find around the house -- in this case, K'nex pieces, part of a drum set, bark, a plastic spoon and duct tape. Unlike the example in the book, this one can be rolled down imaginary Roman roads on the way to the next battle.

I would be happy if mine made them on their own. I have to make them for them!

Love the title of this post. LOL! It's so cool they made that. They did such a great job! That looks like a neat book.

Love it. In a house full of boys you always have to wonder what's going to happen when you bring home a book like that. I know mine are going to listen extra hard to history whenever there is anything about weapons or war. And if we build something having to do with it...watch out! I think our boys would get along great!

Yeah, Boys! They did a great job!We have archery going on around my house with new homemade bows and arrows. My darling girls just found out that we are going to a Ren Fair in Cal City in October and they have been practicing. Lots of Greek mythology going on also. Thanks, Percy Jackson!
