A summer day filled with swimming, sweets and good friends... what more could these boys ask for?
We were invited to a tea party this afternoon, where we each got to decorate our own votive candleholders and tiny jars. We lit the candles, learned a little color theory, sipped tea, frosted cupcakes -- and then burned off the sugar in the pool!
We finally dragged ourselves away from our dear hosts, and headed to another swimming invitation! After a week of mostly indoor play avoiding the extreme heat, we were indeed in need of some cool outdoor fun
oooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhh............... Those were soooo god!!!

ReplyDeleteMichelle - the tea sets belong to my friend, who purchased them at a local Asian market -- or maybe the Mexican grocery, I'm sorry I don't remember for sure!

ReplyDeleteI should read my posts better before posting. Okay here it goes...I was the friend who the tea sets belonged to (actually my kiddos picked them). We purchased them at a local Asian market in the city where Amanda lives. They were a steal at under $20 and beautiful. We went to only buy one set and walked out with two. We are planning another tea party so...if anybody knows of a good blog with tea party suggestions please let Amanda know. Thanks!
